How to see it
The classic view of the Latemar is reflected in Lago di Carezza, a short walk from the road to Passo Costalunga. From Obereggen, paths and lifts reach the Latemar’s southern side.

When to go
In winter the Obereggen ski area spreads below it; in summer the Latemar is crossed by hut paths and a via ferrata.

According to legend, the colours of Lago di Carezza come from a rainbow that a wizard broke and threw into the lake.
