A jagged massif north-east of Cortina, crossed by First World War paths and the famous Ivano Dibona via ferrata.
How to see it
Its jagged ridges are best seen from Lake Misurina and from the road to Passo Tre Croci. The Faloria-Cristallo lifts above Cortina give close views in winter.

When to go
In summer, the Ivano Dibona via ferrata crosses suspension bridges and First World War tunnels along the Cristallo ridge. In winter, the Faloria-Cristallo area offers some of Cortina’s quieter skiing.
Good to know
The Cristallo was on the front line between Italy and Austria-Hungary during the First World War, and remains of the fortifications are still visible along its paths.
