The highest point of the Sella massif, reached easily from the Sass Pordoi cable car at Passo Pordoi.

How to see it

The Sass Pordoi cable car lifts you from Passo Pordoi to the edge of the Sella plateau at about 2,950 m. From there, Piz Boè is about an hour and a half’s walk on marked paths in good conditions, with a hut, Capanna Piz Fassa, on the summit.

Where to stay

Arabba, Canazei and Corvara. Compare the valleys in which Dolomites valley to stay in.

When to go

Summer for the summit; in winter the Sella Ronda circles the whole Sella massif below.

Good to know

Piz Boè is the highest point of the Sella and one of the easiest 3,000 m summits in the Dolomites, but it is still high mountain terrain: check the weather and conditions first.
